Sales to Private equity groups recruitment

The client s business is broking potentially sidepocketed hedge fund investments to 3rd parties at a negotiated price. For illiquid investments the client will come to a market price and then attempt to sell for a price close to this. The private equity market is a potential home for some of the longer term investments and can offer management expertise to groups industry that a hedge fund cannot.

Candidates for this role will know the private equity players and structures and will need to be able to pitch proposals in the language of the PE industry. They will need to be able to grasp the merits and benefits of proposals as this is always a unique and technical sale. Likely backgrounds for this could be people from private wealth management who have had experience of selling clients companiesbusinesses, special situations, people from accounting based company advisory groups or backgrounds in corporate finance as the nature of the proposal is similar. Equally happy to discuss with people from the private equity market.

Happy to discuss this over the phone if this outline lacks clarity.
