Sales – Trade Finance and Working Capital Solutions recruitment
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet clients in the product specialist capacity to understand their working capital cycles and requirements
- Originate, structure and deliver working capital and trade finance solutions
- Champion the internal approval process of new facilities, including the elaboration of business and credit papers
- Manage the execution and delivery of facilities once they are implemented
- Elaborate and negotiate termsheets
- Maintain and manage sales pipelines
- Actively engage with other key stakeholders within the department in fostering cross-sell opportunities and embracing clients’ cash management and flows
- Actively engage with RMs, operations, credit, legal and other stakeholders in promoting product awareness
- Coordinate and assume responsibility for compiling and communicating to all stakeholders, on a regular basis, information relevant to portfolio
- Develop short term and long term sales and product plans
- Manage revenue generation and its long term sustainability
- Support the launching of new initiatives and products
- Understand the market through own research and competitor benchmarking
Financial performance
- Achieve revenue target and growth
- Achieve new sales revenue targets
- Contribute to the formulation of the sales budget/pricing process
- Responsible for the portfolio financial budget
People
- Attract and retain the best talent fostering development of a pool of local product experts
- Actively engage in delivering effective product specialist training to all staff
- Meet retention and vacancy goals
- Implement succession strategy for team
Experience and Skills
- Education: masters degree in a relevant discipline is preferred (minimum requirement: university degree)
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role (preferably with emerging markets/African exposure)
- Good knowledge of trade finance, working capital finance, supply chain and cash management products
- Knowledge of banking operations - documentary credits, SWIFT etc.
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization both internally externally
- Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and organizational skills
- Management, organizational, and people management skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment
Please note that this position is available in Angola. Portuguese speakers will be preferred.
