Sales Trader (Equity Options) recruitment
Job Description
Dynamex Trading Execution is currently looking for a motivated Sales Trader to help grow our execution business. This person will be familiar with the institutional buy side trading community and have current responsibility for equity/index options sales coverage of several active and transferable buy side relationships. The successful candidate will bring both an established book of business to our firm as well as the ability to generate new accounts. The role is to maintain and increase trading with existing house accounts and proactively prospect for new trading clients. For the right candidate, this particular role offers a significant amount of potential for growth within Dynamex.
Desired Skills Experience
• Experienced Sales Trader with 3-5 years of experience
• Must be available for travel to visit clients
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Fundamental economic analysis and some technical analysis capability and make decisions on that data.
• Ability to assess client's needs relative to available projects and services.
• Understanding of sales process from sourcing prospects to closing the sale and customer follow-up
• Basic knowledge of macro-economics, political developments, and market liquidity conditions.
• Ability to understand economic, political and market changes and develop a strategy for trade execution.
• FINRA Series 7 and 63 required
• Proven track record of commission generation
• Access to buy-side customers
• Must have proven ability to effectively use technology, research and market intelligence in day-to-day trading
