Sales Trading Support recruitment
We are looking for a keen, proactive individual to support our London based Sales Trading team. The successful candidate will currently work in a Service/Help desk environment servicing clients trading marginedproducts including CFD/FX. This is a great opportunity to work within a front office sales trading desk and gain exposure to a wide variety of products including Shares, CFDs, FX spot/Forwards, FX options, Futures, Options on Futures. The role will not initially involve any trading; however there might be a possibility in the future to become a sales trader.
MAIN TASKS:
- Covering Sales Trading Inbox - responding to incoming email traffic from clients and internal staff
- Covering Sales Trading Phones – picking up incoming client calls as and when required
- Dealing with issues relating to: Back Office, Account Management, Risk Management and Saxo Platform, including but not limited to: Allocations, Corporate Actions, Stock Transfers, Treasury, Setting up Sub Accounts, Notifications Futures, CFD Commodity Margin Calls, Expiry’s, Field general client questions, Assist clients with order placement, Provide platform demos where required via Webex
- Support Sales Traders where required
CORE REQUIREMENTS:
- 1-2 years of help desk/customer service experience in the industry
- Good knowledge of financial products, especially CFDs and FX
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Excellent organisational skills
- Proactive and an ability to use own initiative where appropriate
- Ability to work well under pressure and perform comfortably in high-stress environments
- Efficient team player
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong personal motivation and desire to succeed
- The ability to think quickly and problem-solve in real-time
- Computer literate, competent user of Excel and Word
