Summary
Performs specialized tasks related to the administrative, research and marketing requirements for a professional or a team of professionals in a sales environment. Individuals should regularly exercise confidentiality, discretion and independent judgment. Please note this is a demanding position with long hours, but with significant growth potential and rewards.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently determines the appropriate methodology in creating marketing and presentation materials, which include designing brochures, preparing tenant surveys or other specialized reports, developing property locator maps, etc.
- Keeps the sales professional or team organized and arranges meetings, presentations and functions as required.
- Ensures files and databases are kept up-to-date. Development and maintenance of required database(s).
- Contributes to the development and typing of client offers, presentations, proposals and correspondence.
- Attends the appropriate meetings with the professional(s).
- Responsible for all administrative tasks involving the professional(s).
- Researches, compiles and verifies information for standard and special reports.
- Compiles packages of property data, which contain material specifically tailored to each client.
- Ensures the accurate and timely dissemination of marketing materials, faxes, couriers, etc. and provides back-up receptionist support and relief.
- Interfaces with sales professionals, researchers and clients regarding administrative and marketing requirements and to gather necessary data.
- Miscellaneous administrative, research and marketing responsibilities as required by management.
- Provides backup receptionist support and relief.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Individual should be highly motivated and have the ability to take the initiative.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly and positive attitude. Dealing with multiple projects and deadlines.
- Post-secondary education is required; industry related experience would be an asset.
- Excellent computer skills required, such as WIN2000, MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Excel and MS-Outlook.
- Ability to navigate and research on the Internet is a definite asset.
