Sales Use Tax Accountant
Raytheon's Finance Enterprise Services (FES) is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join the Sales, Use and Property Tax Team. This position will be responsible for assisting and leading special projects as assigned, assisting with jurisdictional, internal and external refund audits, performing taxability research as required, supporting internal customers such as accounts payable, contracts and program finance. The individual will also assist with performing gap analysis on newly acquired companies or existing small sites. In addition, this position will be responsible for the following activities: Assist with updates reviews for our Vertex TDM's Identify and maintain metrics Assist with performing training classes as required Assist with resolving other governmental inquires Required Skills and Experiences: Minimum 4 years of Sales Use Tax experience Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to articulate complex technical tax concepts to colleagues and management Strong continuous improvement skills Self starter with the ability to take initiative and ownership of assignments.
