Sales & Use Tax Analyst Job in Edison, New Jersey Us
A Premier Retail Company located in Middlesex County, New Jersey has an opportunity for a Sales Use Tax Analyst who will handle the following responsibilities:
- Support the Tax Team's efforts to produce and file various tax returns and reports
- Support applications and data used by the Tax Team
- Support the development, enhancement, and implementation of Tax technology processes and procedures
- Support the tax return compliance effort
- Support tax applications and data retrieval efforts
- Support the review, development, and implementation of procedures and/or middleware solutions to improve tax processes
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualified candidates will posses:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, Tax experience a plus
- 5+ years experience, and experience in large Tax firm a plus
- Working knowledge of various tax compliance software programs such as Vertex Income Tax - Domestic, Vertex O, and Vertex Sales and Use Tax Returns a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, SAP Oracle a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience in Manufacturing industry a plus
The total compensation range is from $50,000 to $65,000 with great benefits (medical, dental), and 401k plan with match.
