Cambridge Biomedical, a growing CRO, CAP/CLIA accredited laboratory that works with biotechnology, pharmaceutical and reference laboratories, is looking for a seasoned Sales/Business Development Representative located in the greater Boston area. The successful candidate:
- Is an aggressive “hunter” with in-depth knowledge and experience in the CRO industry
- Has prior success selling customized services to Directors, VP’s and scientists in small to mid-size life sciences companies
- Excels at finding and closing new business in a competitive marketplace
- Is a consistent over-achiever
- Has excellent consultative selling skills
- Is a highly motivated self-starter
Position requires a BS in Chemistry, Biology, or other Life Science discipline and a minimum of 5 years of previous sales experience. Prior experience in outsourcing; custom designed products or services; program sales; bio-manufacturing; bio-process; life sciences; and method development for clinical trials. Individuals must be able to travel up to 40%. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Sales Management software.
