An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for one of the UK Largest Parcel Carriers in their specialist Sameday delivery division based in Bristol.

 

The main purpose of role is to manage the existing core local / regional Sameday business, Develop new business opportunities with Sameday BDM and Domestic Sales with focus on quality and cost.

 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

           

- Manage existing Sameday business and customers within Geographic Regional Area

- Develop new business opportunities in close conjunction with Sameday BDM and Regional Sales Teams

- Recruit Manage driver resource to meet required demand. This will include the management of Driver pay to ensure margins are in line with expectation.

- Ensure commercially acceptable operating margins are met whilst maintaining service levels

- Build Maintain relationships with new and existing customers and supporting the sales team with visits to customers to support the Sameday proposition where necessary.

- Report Present Key Performance Figures to Sameday Management Team

 

Knowledge

Knowledge of Sameday or Domestic Parcel industry is ESSENTIAL

Qualifications:

GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English

IT literate to basic level, including Word and Excel       

IT literate to intermediate level, including Word and Excel

 

Benefits

 

Up to £23,000 Basic Salary

Commission paid on new business
