Sanctions Manager, Policy Team recruitment
Group Regulatory Affairs Compliance (GRAC) is responsible for managing regulatory and compliance risks facing the group, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions Terrorist Financing (STF) and Anti Bribery Corruption (ABC).
The Sanctions team, working within Group AML / STF / ABC has the overall aim of ensuring ongoing compliance of the Group and its divisions with financial sanctions regimes and regulations in all its operations and jurisdictions.
The role of the Sanctions Manager, Policy Team, is to support the Head of Sanctions with defining, writing and maintaining the Group's sanctions policy and the related procedures and guidelines. You'll also provide group wide leadership and direction in relation to changing legislation and regulation. Finally, you'll have responsibility for liasing with government and other external bodies, and lobbying on behalf of the Group, to ensure new laws and regulations affecting the AML/ STF environment remain practical and effective.
To be successful as Sanctions Manager, Policy Team, you'll have previous experience in a sanctions compliance role, within the financial services industry, and knowledge of the regulatory / legislative landscape for sanctions across multiple jurisdictions. Knowledge in particular of EU, UK and US financial sanctions regimes and regulations would be advantageous.
