SAP ABAP Netweaver Developer Job in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania US
The Judge Group is looking for a SAP ABAP Developer for a position with our client in Ft. Washington, PA. The right candidate will have strong ABAP development skills with excellent Netweaver experience. This will be a contract to hire position, but could also run just straight contract in that is what you are looking for.
We are looking for ABAP and Netweaver experience (EDI preferably). Any experience with SQL and .NET is a major plus.

The Senior SAP ABAP and NetWeaver Developer will work with project and infrastructure teams to implement and support SAP related projects utilizing SAP ECC 6.0 R/3 and including FI, CO, SD, PI, and CRM modules. This person will responsible for providing technical and development leadership during the initial SAP implementations as well as ongoing support, and in particular will lead EDI integration efforts. This position will also mentor and provide cross training for other team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by supervisor or management.
• Work with consulting partners and internal team members to develop standards and procedures.
• Provide development leadership and assist with development in support of the initial SAP implementations, including significant EDI work.
• Participate in systems design sessions and develop technical solutions that meet the business needs.
• Implement SAP patches, hot packages, and version upgrades of SAP PI, R/3, and CRM modules.
• Develop and oversee development of test plans/scripts.
• Cross train other associates on SAP ABAP development and NetWeaver/PI.
Qualifications (include Education and specific Experience)
• 5+ years of ABAP and NetWeaver experience, including experience with ALE, IDOC, and RFC development.
• SAP FICO, PI, SD, and EDI experience required. The ideal candidate will also have CRM experience.
• Extensive experience designing and developing PI/NetWeaver related processes and in particular EDI.
• Extensive knowledge of the SAP NetWeaver application server system architecture.
• Full life cycle experience required, including design, installation, implementation, and support. The ideal candidate will have this experience in a lead role.
• Extensive experience designing and developing ABAP programs, interfaces, user exits, and reports. Ideal candidate will also have Java experience.
• Experience with SAP implementations and ASAP methodology required.
• Work effectively alone and as a member of a team to resolve complex issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree or university program certificate preferred; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills
• SAP certification highly desired.
• Strong ABAP skills and working experience, and ideally experience with Java.
• Strong integration process design skills.
• Experience working in moderate to high transaction volume environments
