CSC's Federal Consulting Practice is looking for SAP Basis Consultants Our senior SAP professionals are part of a diverse team which is responsible for deliveringlarge-scale, complex programs that combine business processes with technology to help our government clients achieve the highest levels of performance.Senior SAP consultants play a leadership role on the project and are involved in all phases of a life cycle implementation, including blueprinting, gap analysis, mapping, prototypes, design, configuration, testing, go-live, user training and post production support. The consultant must be able to work with end users on the SAP application's integrationand functionality; determine those technology inadequacies and /or deficiencies that can affect the functional area's ability to support or meet the organizational goals as well as lead enterprise applications integration efforts and oversee the validation of the associated work products. Senior consultants on the project will lead both small and medium size teams and must proactively educate both team members and the client with specific best practices. The sphere of influence for a Senior Consultant generally includes team leaders and project managers, vendor or contractor SME's, and limited exposure to project stakeholders. The consultant must be able to brief senior managers. Critical Knowledge Ideal candidates will have minimum 5 years working in SAP development and should have experience working on a minimum of 2 full software lifecycle developments. The consultant should have demonstrable skills of interfacing with customers and gathering requirements as necessary. The candidate needs to have depth and breadth in their core SAP expertise and experience in integration with an ERP environment. The individual should be capable of leading a mid size team with 5 - 10 resources and able to deliver solutions with limited guidance from project managers. Good writing and documentation skills are required. Essential Job Functions - Experience in SAP security design, SAP user provisioning, knowledge of segregation of duties concepts, sensitive access and experience in user access security including configuration of SAP - Substantial implementation functional team experience and/or "Big 4" Audit experience in a technology audit/risk assessment practice specializing in SAP - Experience in at least one (1) SAP Security ECC or BI implementation or redesign is highly desirable - Ability to conduct significant data analytics using various SAP tables to support security, transaction, and controls projects is highly desirable - Assist on client needs assessments of ERP package control solutions Qualifications PREFERRED TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE SKILLS - Experience in implementing SAP GRC implementations in either Access Control, Process Control, Risk Management or similar products - Experience in a user provisioning redesign or implementation project - Experience performing internal control reviews and risk assessments for customers running SAP - Experience implementing SAP, while having exposure/interaction with process owners and SMEs - Experience in assessing an ERP installation in the context of Business Controls, Security, Internal Audit, or Compliance context Basic Qualifications: Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 year Basis/Security experience working on large-scale SAP OM support environment with over 50 team members. 2 full lifecycle implementation and upgrade are required. Candidates should have good understanding and working knowledge in the following areas; SAP security with ECC 6.0 and NW Portal 7.x, transports, and specific demonstrable skills indicated below Minimum 8 years of overall experience supporting an in SAP implementation/upgrade. Additional 3 years of work experience can be substituted for lack of a degree Mnimum of 3 years hands-on experience working SAP Netweaver in the technical area identified below
