Incorporate skills which support the programming, management and maintenance services required to implement and support new installations or maintain and improve existing legacy systems for our clients. The SAP Basis Portal/Netweaver Administrator is responsible for setting up, maintaining operation, and working with the project teams to assist with and troubleshoot issues regarding the SAP Java based Enterprise Portal landscapes. They are also responsible for assisting with the operation and integration of these systems with the current ECC and SCM landscapes, as well as having ownership of the batch job scheduling and design for all environments to meet the business needs of the client. The SAP Basis Administrator will need to have a deep knowledge SAP Java. The client landscape includes SAP myERP2004 Netweaver 2004 landscape, including ECC 5.0, SCM 4.1, EP 7.1(they are currently upgrading to EP7.3), GRC 5.3, and SM. This person will also have the opportunity to do Project work. Basic Qualifications: -Minimum 4 years experience in SAP Basis Administration -Minimum 2 years of RDBMS Management -Minimum 2 years of Operating System / knowledge of system commands and structures Additional Preferred Skill Requirements: -2 years of support of SAP Java based application -Enterprise Portal, GRC, XI, or other Java based SAP applications. -Installation / Configuration of SAP Portal instance -Implementation and Administration of SAP Business Packages -Knowledge in NWDI and NWDS along with CTS+ configuration. -Performance tuning of J2EE system SAP Portal Netweaver Lead Administrator is responsible for overall technical operations of the clients SAP Enterprise Portal environment Specific responsibilities: -Design/Redesign and implement new SAP environments as required -Coordinate with project teams based in the US and India to schedule required maintenance outages and recommended tuning and changes to the environment as appropriate. -Work with India based counterpart to ensure timely and coordinated handoff of work and projects to ensure timelines are met. -Estimate effort required for requested enhancements of the Portal, GRC, and SM environments. -Work with Client Security Lead, On-Site Client Auditors, and External Auditors to ensure Sun Chemicals GRC environment provides the required information, rule sets, and integration to SAP to ensure JSOX security requirements can be tested and remediated -Assess urgency of break-fix issues and requests General responsibilities include: -Responsible for Tier 2 3 Basis Administration support -Responsible for meeting SLAs -Work with and coordinate efforts between a team of local and IDC team support resources -Participate in the on-call and maintenance window rotation -Use skill set to design, build, and test effective solutions to application and/or process defects -Work effectively across both technical and functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve tickets -Mentoring and training to the Basis team -Ensure all service requests are managed and completed according to SLAs
