Johnson Johnson IT Shared Services, a member of Johnson Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for an SAP BASIS, Technology Operations Manager, located in Raritan, NJ.
The SAP BASIS, Technology Operations Manager will be responsible for the operational support of all SAP platforms, a Business Critical Applications, worldwide. He/she is responsible to technically manage an offshore support team who are the key contacts for SAP infrastructure operations within Johnson and Johnson across the globe. This individual will provide guidance to the team in resolving technical questions and level 2 support issues. Drive closure of open L1 and L2 tickets and meeting SLAs. Provide global operational infrastructure support 24 x 7 for ERP applications. Owns/execute L1 and L2, Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Capacity, and Availability for SAP BASIS and SAP Database services. Drive closure of open L1 and L2 tickets and meeting SLAs.
The SAP BASIS, Technology Operations Manager will be part of the Global Operations organization within the ERP Team. The ERP team delivers Enterprise Application Support (BASIS and Database) for SAP Platforms.
Primary Tasks and responsibilities will include; Technical management of an offshore support team according to JJ processes and oversees all BASIS related activities. Supporting ITIL processes necessary to resolve incidents i.e. Knowledge, Problem, Change and Access Management. Coordinating resources across multiple locations to engage in resolution of incidents related to SAP infrastructure. Forms productive networks with internal and external business partners. Work closely with the SAP Engineering and Provisioning and SAP Application Support organization to improve daily support of the SAP Platforms. Document problems and their resolution. Maintains all documentation drawings on SAP infrastructure. Coordinates and owns Change/Problem Management for all SAP infrastructure.
Qualifications
This position requires a minimum bachelor's degree. This position requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP BASIS and Database Support. Candidates that possess ITILv3 Foundations Training are preferred. Candidates with experience working on global teams are also preferred. This position requires a dynamic personality, with a great focus on result delivery. This position also requires strong communication skills in English (written and verbal). This position requires an active technical problem solver with hands-on experience with troubleshooting issues. Expertise in ECC, Net Weaver, Portal, BW, PI, SCM, and Oracle Administration is also required for this position. Basic knowledge in UNIX, Windows OS, and other SAP Bolt-Ons are also required. Candidates with technical writing skills to write the proper documentation according to internal regulations (FDA part 11, GxP, SOP, Work Instruction) are preferred. SOX Experience is required. This position requires strong teamwork, communication/information sharing and influencing skills. The ability to work under pressure and be self motivated is also required. This position requires that candidates work in a very detailed environment and can deliver quality results within the agreed timeframe and budget. The ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements is required. This position will require 5-10% travel and will be based in Raritan, NJ.
