The Role
Bloomberg's SAP competency center (BEST Solution Center) is seeking an SAP Billing Analyst with Media industry experience and a strong understanding of SAP's SD module specifically in order processing, pricing, and billing functionality. The analyst will be responsible for the design, build, and support of order-to-cash business solutions spanning both SAP and internal Bloomberg systems. This will include defining business requirements, leading the design process, implementing, and testing application capabilities. The analyst will proactively work with the end-user community to improve business processes and procedures. The analyst will also investigate and present new technology and solutions to the SAP user community. The analyst will also serve as the primary backup to the 1st level support team for end-user questions and issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 4 + years of SAP configuration experience in order processing, pricing, and billing functionality
- Media industry experience in broadcast, print, and digital advertising
- Expertise delivering solutions within a formal project methodology including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and cutover
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be proficient in MS Office including Project and Excel
- History of delivering high quality projects on time under aggressive schedules and the ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent projects
- Strong problem solving/troubleshooting and technical experience with the ability to identify root cause application issues
- Project management skills and the ability to drive small cross-functional teams across technical, business, and functional resources
- Ability to plan for and conduct project training to end user community; create training and reference materials
- Self starter capable of driving requirements gathering sessions and managing issue resolution
- Demonstrated ability to keep current on new SAP functionality and understand complex system landscapes deeply integrated with legacy systems
