· Our client is looking for an SAP Business Objects Developer for a long-term contract
· Experience with BI 4.0 landscape, architecture and tools is a requirement
· Required: Extensive experience with the entire Business Objects XI 3.1 Application Suite (2-3 years) and overall Business Objects tools experience, at least 5 years
· Required: Strong experience with Business Objects connectivity methods to SAP Business Warehouse and other database environments such as Oracle, SQL Server etc. (2 – 4 years)
· Required: Strong development experience in building Xcelsius Dashboards, Web Intelligence and Crystal Reports (2 – 4 years)
· Required: Experience building Business Objects Explorer Infospaces
· Required: Strong understanding and development experience in building Universe / Abstraction layer (3 years)
· Required: Experience working with building and maintaining Hierarchies, Row Level Security
· Required: Knowledge of Business Objects security and Administration in XI 3.1 (2 -4 years)
· Required: Strong understanding and experience with dimensional, relational modeling for data warehouse/data marts, Star Schema (4 -5 years)
· Required: Strong knowledge of SAP BW query development.
· Required: Strong understanding of the SAP BW architecture (Info Providers, Multi Providers, DSOs etc.)
· Required: Strong ability to interface with Business and End Users to gather requirements
· Assisting end users with writing reports and performing ad hoc queries
· Work with offshore teams on a regular basis
· Ability to comprehend complex technical and logical concepts and adapt quickly to changes
· Ability to maintain own workflow and meet deadlines
· Excellent troubleshooting skills
· Keen inclination to learn new technological advances and advice proper application of such technologies
· Ability to respond to frequent demands of multiple internal customers
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Analytical, problem solving and quantitative skills
· Ability to work effectively as part of a team
· Preferred: Experience and knowledge of Business Objects SDK, including actual customization work with the SDK
