Our Global IT function is looking for a professional and passionate SAP BW/BI Consultant to help with the roll out of a BI platform throughout Rockwool and to help develop a high level of service support to users throughout the globe. The roll will be based in our offices in Bridgend, South Wales with the successful candidate expected to travel 5-6 days per month to various Rockwool sites throughout Europe.

Key Responsibilities of the SAP BW/BI Consultant:

• Enabling extractors and building reports based on FI, MM, PCA, and LES.
• Building connectors to other different sources of data.
• Implementation of Integrated Planning.
• Responsibility for BW implementation in new markets (including project management and development, user training)
• Responsibility for implementation of Group Standard reports, steering the process from specification and design until implementation
• Responsibility for the RW super-users community
• Coaching colleagues/wider team
• Handling Incidents, Service requests or RFC (e.g. creation of a new Group standard report for inflation)

To be considered for the SAP BW/BI Consultant role we are looking for someone with the following skills and experience :

• Strong experience in both front and back end
• At least 3 years experience with Data Modelling (ideally experience with SAP ETL - Extraction, Transformation, and Loading)
• Strong Project Management skills (knowledge of Prince2 would be beneficial)
• At least 2 years ABAP development experience
• Experience within a BW 7.x environment
• Experience with SAP BW BEx Query Development and SAP BW Web development (Web Application Designer, Broadcasting, Portal, Integrated Planning)
• Experience of Budgeting and Consolidation tool implementation would also be preferred

The role is based in Bridgend, Glamorgan, South Wales which commutable from Porthcawl, Port Talbot, Maesteg, Neath, Swansea, Pontyclun, Cowbridge, Treorchy, Porth, Pontypridd, Caerphilly, Cardiff, Barry and Cynffig.

The package on offer includes a competitive salary (up to £55,000 dependant on experience), 30 days holiday plus statutory days, healthcare and an excellent pension scheme .
