SAP Client Delivery Manager Job

The Client Delivery Manager works with Sales teams as their Services advisor participating in new customer pursuits and new business development with existing customers. The person assigned to this role should be a skilled delivery specialist with SAP and business expertise in the area covered by the Sales segment that he/she parallels. Besides all the activities inherent in Service selling (scoping, SOW generation, project initiation) this person would also participate in billable Service delivery playing a strategic, management and/or design architect role. Finally, the Client Delivery Manager should act as a conduit for solution development by collaborating with the Solutions team and helping them gain access to Customer information and interests.

Position Requirements: Primary Duties Sales Support: - Develop consulting proposals for clients including project approach, timeline, deliverables, and service billings. - Support Sales team effort related to services - Identify sales opportunities in client accounts and communicate same to appropriate Account Executives - Track Services pipeline reporting weekly and working with Sales to reconcile with GFS - Conduct onsite scoping of new service opportunities and present our GS portfolio to potential clients - Assist Account Executives to develop and deliver strategic sales plans related to new service business - Oversee Delivery activities to confirm that staffing and staff hours related to revenue targets are achieved - Build strong working relationships with customers, partners, Sales, Solution Development and peers in other regions. Delivery: - Manage the transition of new projects from Pre-Sales to Delivery including facilitation of staff selection and introduction of the consulting team to the pre-sales team and the client - Provide subject matter expertise in solutions and the use of OT technology to meet customer requirements - Work with delivery team to ensure that customer’s goals and objectives are met during deployment leading to high levels of customer satisfaction - Review next steps at project close out identifying additional project opportunities and, if qualified, communicating them to the Account Executive Solution Development: - Understand solution sets relevant to target customer group. - Identify solution profiles during pre-sales and delivery - Assist Solution team to evaluate new solution packages, specifically identifying potential opportunity, business value and technology fit - During Solution development, work with Solutions team to identify configured and custom software components, service delivery approach and value added content to be bundled in solution offering.
