We are seeking a consultant with a proven track record and significant SAP consulting experience in the Public Sector. CIBER is a Preferred Services Partner for SAP Public Services in the United States and partners with SAP to provide complete software and services solutions for medium-sized state and local government entities, public utilities, K-12 school districts, and higher education and research facilities. Ability to travel is an important consideration to this position, as this will be a key role supporting future national demand for our SAP Practice. The client is undertaking a major deployment of SAP Finance and Procurement to support the agency's corporate accounting requirements. A Data Conversion Coordinator is required to coordinate the conversion of legacy system master data and transaction data from the client's legacy accounting, procurement and other systems to SAP. QUALIFICATIONS: This is a coordination role that demands a high degree of client interaction and team leadership skill, combined with a strong Finance/Accounting functional orientation and business focus. The successful candidate is likely to have a track record in this same role, or as a Finance functional team lead or integration manager on large SAP projects. The successful candidate will be very familiar with the ETL lifecycle and the challenges associated with these activities. In particular, the candidate should be experienced in designing and coordinating the activities and controls required to ensure: An auditable conversion of data, including accounting balance information from/to general ledgers. The protection of Personally Identifiable Information. This is not a technical role, although regular coordination and liaison with CIBER's and the client's technical resources will be required and familiarity with SAP-based tools for data conversion such as LSMW is expected.
