We are seeking a consultant with a proven track record and significant SAP consulting experience in the Public Sector. CIBER is a Preferred Services Partner for SAP Public Services in the United States and partners with SAP to provide complete software and services solutions for medium-sized state and local government entities, public utilities, K-12 school districts, and higher education and research facilities. Ability to Travel is an important consideration to this position, as this will be a key role supporting future national demand for our SAP Practice. This is a full time hire to CIBER with an annual compensation package, including bonus and full benefits. The client is undertaking a major deployment of SAP Finance and Procurement to support the agency's corporate accounting requirements. A Data Conversion Developer is required to support the conversion of legacy system master data and transaction data from the client's legacy accounting, procurement and other systems to SAP. The client is not using commercial ETL tools to support this activity. Qualifications: The successful candidate will be very familiar with the ETL lifecycle and the challenges associated with these activities, including: The transformation of data through extensive mappings and file mergers. Intermediate staging of data within SAP and in tools external to SAP, such as Access and Excel In particular, the candidate should be experienced in designing and operating technical controls required to ensure: An auditable conversion of data, including accounting balance information from/to general ledgers. The protection of Personally Identifiable Information. This is a technical role that will work closely with the CIBER Data Conversion Coordinator, members of CIBER's functional and technical teams, and members of the client's project team and legacy system data owners. This role requires a high degree of client interaction skill, combined with strong presentation and documentation skills. Deep familiarity with SAP-based tools for data conversion such as LSMW and ABAP upload programs is expected. Familiarity with Winshuttle would be advantageous.
