Job Description Summary SAP FICO Business Analyst III

Position Purpose/Objective:

Responsible for providing operational and project support for the SAP FICO system of a global, multi-site aerospace business . This position may also be accountable for related project management.

Essential Responsibilities:
* Provide customer/operational support by investigating and resolving end-user and application issues. Recommends improvements in the application support process to maintain and/or exceed application Service Level Agreements (SLA's).
* Support tactical planning activities. Provide input during the annual expense, capital, and project planning process throughout the year. Provide tactical input for projects and assignments in area of responsibility.
* Maintain and update the application documentation necessary to meet internal controls, policy, and auditing requirements in areas of responsibility. Follow all policies and procedures to ensure all controls and compliance requirements are being met. Participate in audits and control reviews as necessary for areas of responsibilities.
* Responsible for supporting projects as assigned. Oversee, monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.
* Provide project support in testing and implementation of IT projects and continuous application enhancements to support the business. Writes detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. Configures workflow to allow the integration of client/server applications. Test systems to assure requirements are met.
* Serves as the SAP Global FICO lead for Customer Services.

Responsibilities will include:

- Global responsibility for Customer Services FICO SAP support.
- Works with site points of contact for issue management/resolution.
- Interface with the SGS for issue resolution, project planning, and project implementation.
- Train the trainer.
- SAP education resource.
- Represents CS at advisory board meetings.
- Participate in CS lean events.
- Support CS MRO Network model.
- Promote common business processes.
- Participate and support SAP enhancements/new releases.
- Support CS Global reporting requirements/development.
- Act as a liaison between Finance and Information Technology.

Basic Qualifications :

Education Required:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Technology or related business field

Experience Required:

* 6-9 years of experience working in either a Finance or Information Technology environment.
* Knowledge of Business Processes primarily in Finance and Controlling/Costing
* 3-6 years of experience in customer and operational support in an Information Technology Environment, preferred.
* Experience with ERP systems, specifically SAP, preferred.

* Able to assess IT controls and compliance requirements.
* Able to facilitate functional team meetings and interface with Finance leadership.

* Competence in general PC business applications Excel, Word, Outlook, Access.
