Full Job Description
A global oil and gas business are seeking the addition of a Financial Analyst to join a Future of Finance project on a permanent basis. My client is embarking on an SAP implementation to support the continued growth within the business.
They now require a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ideally Big 4) to support this implementation through the design of the SAP solution up to go live at multiple locations around the globe.
It is anticipated that the project role would last for 18 months and provide the successful candidate with an overview of the Finance function within the business with a view to finding a role within the business at the cessation of the Project.
The successful incumbent will be required to provide an input to the design of the SAP solution for Finance/Supply Chain to ensure that it meets the needs of end users and Corporate Standards. The role is also to contribute to cross-process activities, such as training, data mapping and cleansing, data validation throughout the migration exercise and the through testing of the SAP solution.
The role of the SAP Project Process Team Member will be to primarily assist in defining the functional and integration scope for Finance/Supply Chain and supporting requirements definition, process and system fit-gap analysis.
You will contribute to business process design and functional design for development objects as you will be tasked with building and validating Business Process Designs.
With a sound Financial Reporting background, and ideally experience of systems (CISA preferential) you will effectively engage with a range of stakeholders from across the finance/Supply Chain community in training and influencing.
You will support delivery of the defined SAP project work products in line with defined requirements, time lines and quality acceptance criteria.
