SAP HR Analyst Job in Salt Spring Island V8k1x1, British Columbia Canada

Duties Responsibilities;
- Develop, design, implement and maintain system integrity of HCM SAP functionality, configuration and related processes for Time Management and Payroll Processing; perform corrective maintenance, release management and enhancement management. Collaborate with Process Managers and other Enterprise Application Support (EASD) team members to prioritize activities across all the business units.
- Maintain awareness of current and emerging solutions to the existing software and recommend tools to increase the value of existing solutions. Provide advice on system or business process changes; collaborate with Human Resource staff to identify problematic processes that need improvement.
- Gather business requirements, conduct analysis of needs and system functionality, develop and implement related procedures and conduct user training.
- Collaborate with users in the effective and timely implementation to problems and issues; ensure solutions are thoroughly tested and documented before promotion to the production system. Perform the appropriate unit, integration and regression tests to ensure the new functionality works as planned and existing processes continue uninterrupted.
- Work with new implementation projects to seamlessly integrate the new functionality into the existing design of processes, business rules (including collective agreement interpretations) and configuration; liaise with Process Managers to address requirements for end-user training, such as training design, training material and course content; deliver training in one-on-one or classroom settings.
- Communicate with Process Managers, User Groups, Coaches and key users regarding the work progress, issues and information regarding planned and potential new functionality. Conduct technical research and work with internal and external resources to resolve complex technical issues. Provide direction and provide supervision to external consultants.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of human resources business processes
- Knowledge of HCM, FICO and other SAP Modules
- Knowledge of SAP HCM functionality, and system configuration in Time Management and Payroll Processing including knowledge of Time Evaluation, Quotas, Work Schedules, Features, Schema and Rule writing, Absence and Attendance counting, Cross Application Time Sheet (CATS)
- Knowledge of collective agreements, Canadian payroll and statutory provisions
- Knowledge of current and emerging solutions
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to develop and redesign business processes
- Demonstrated ability to manage system integrity
- Demonstrated ability to analyze information and resolve problems
- Demonstrated ability to develop and conduct training for users, provide recommendations, identify and research issues, and assist with issue resolution.
- Demonstrated ability to recommend tools to increase the value of the existing solutions and provide appropriate recommendation.
- Self-motivated and very detail-oriented
- Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related discipline from a recognized program plus Five (5) years? experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
