The role of the SAP IT Process Lead - Schedule to Produce (MM, PP, IM/WM) is to provide and implement technical solutions throughout all phases of the application lifecycle. This person will successfully deliver business solutions in complex domestic and international environments, including system design, go-lives, and project management.
This is a Regional role that will execute the rollout of SAP to all Johnson Controls Power Solutions plants in the Americas as part of the Power Solutions Enterprise System (PSES) Project.
This person must come from a strong IT background where they have overseen a matrixed organization of manufacturing subject matter experts, along with possessing strong configuration experience. The ideal candidate will provide functional and technical SAP subject matter expertise, be accountable for the configuration of the global template, and be responsible for ensuring that the solution design meets the business requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the configuration, governance and maintenance of the Schedule to Produce (MM, PP, IM/WM) Global Template.
- Leads indirect reports and regional team members in configuration and testing of changes.
- Works closely with other Process Leads to ensure tight integration between business functions.
- Work closely with the technical development team to ensure accurate and timely code that matches the designs
- Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of the end-to-end technical solution. This includes creation of the detailed project design, technical specifications, and test plans. Participation in projects from define through deployment is expected.
- Responsible for establishing detailed and realistic business requirements in the define phase of the project and identify gaps in Schedule to Produce, specifically MM, PP, and IM/WM. Responsible for coordinating business review and obtaining sign off on business requirements prior to beginning the next project phase. Responsible for ensuring functional specifications are developed in the design phase of the project, and meet the business requirements outlined.
- Monitor project throughout the project phases to ensure that the designed solution matches back to the business requirements, alerting project and IT leadership when there are potential disconnects.
- Responsible for ensuring that detailed project design maintains architectural design principles related to reusable services, common technology underpinnings, and strategic technical capabilities such as Services Oriented Architecture, Web Services, etc. Design must also maintain alignment to the architectural plan and roadmaps.
- Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred.
- Experience in leading at least 3 large-scale SAP MM, PP, IM/WM Projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience in presenting to C-level executives.
- Experience in the management of process and people.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Project Management experience required.
- Track record of successful collaborations with Business Units, Information Technology, and Implementation Partners (IBM)
- Experience as a Technical Lead, including configuration, team leadership, and project management.
