For our Shared Service Center, located in Brussels and Paris, we are looking for a SAP NetWeaver Infrastructure Designer, in the area of SAP Basis Components The SAP NetWeaver Infrastructure Designer is member of a highly skilled team, responsible for the architecture and design of new and existing SAP environments in the GDF SUEZ Shared Service Center and has regular contacts with our “internal clients” in Belgium and in the other countries where GDF SUEZ is present. As SAP NetWeaver Infrastructure Designer, you:
- give advice concerning the technical feasibility and the impact of business requests on the infrastructure and help to build and implement this infrastructure
- design and implement infrastructure specifications with regards to SAP-projects in accordance with IT Governance standards and Guidelines
- develop, test and document new components and solutions
- ensure proper handover to the operational teams
- provide third line support in case of incidents and operate as part of "problem teams"
- follow the standards for the cost-effective management of the infrastructure capacity
- help to improve current operational and technical procedures (ITIL)
- are responsible for the recommendation of required improvements to SAP environments
- assure technical ability allowing proper and constructive management of all SAP services
- manage the installation, sizing, monitoring and fine-tuning of SAP Enterprisewide software ensuring the efficient and secure operation of the customer’s global SAP landscape (e.g. ECC 6.0, Solution Manager , Enterprise Portal, XI/PI, Business Warehouse, CRM, Document Management, Business Objects, TREX and others)
- participate in training and knowledge transfer to new employees
Compétences requises
- you have a university degree (IT, Engineering) or equivalent through experience
- you have at least 3 years of experience in SAP Basis Components as third line or as designer
- you have excellent Basis Administration skills in ECC 6.0 and previous SAP releases
- you have excellent knowledge of the SAP Netweaver Java components (portal, tuning, monitoring, configuration)
- you have technical experience in managing CRM, BI, TREX and/or Document Management
- experience in Solution Manager environment is an asset
- you have experience with the following platforms: Oracle, HP-UX, AIX, Windows and MaxDB
- you have experience with several of the following concepts : High Availabitlity, Disaster Recovery, Cluster, Data Center Segmentation, Virtualization
- you are fluent in Dutch and/or French and you have adequate technical knowledge of English
- you follow actively the latest SAP technologies and learn how to technically implement them
- you have an analytical mind and you learn quickly
- you are able to work independently and you take responsibility with respect to deadlines and agreements.
