Group IT - Vestas Wind Systems
Group IT in Vestas is one of the largest IT competence centers in Denmark, who delivers solutions and support for a huge amount of projects and systems. With an installed base of more than 100 SAP systems, and with 700 colleagues, we have an ever flowing stream of challenging IT-projects which must be delivered with high quality and speed.
The PI team is currently 8 employees and is a part of the SAP Technology team which consists of 30 employees primarily in Denmark and the Philippines. The work area is very broad and we cover all aspects of integration between SAP systems as well as non-SAP systems.
Responsibilities and tasks
As a SAP PI Junior Business Consultant you will be in a training and transition period into becoming a PI consultant and developer in all the work that the SAP Integration team does.
Some of your daily tasks will be:
- embrace the training and transition into a position as SAP PI Business Consultant
- participate in development and consultancy on projects
- junior consultant and developer in optimising current solutions
- embrace new technology.
Qualifications and work experience
The right candidate has 3+ years of experience with IT development in project work, e.g. with tools like Java, XML, .net etc. Your experience comes from work with large IT installations.
You have a proven track record of IT development and you are a speedy learner who is used to working independently. You possess the ability and aspiration to handle a task from start to end - specification, development, testing, documentation and bug fixing/error handling. You are communicative and service minded - as there is a lot of interaction with many different stakeholders and projects. Furthermore you need to be fluent in English - both orally and written.
