Department Overview

The Finance team is based in London and currently comprises of 28 people with responsibility for financial control, revenue reporting, management accounting/information for the Fitch International group of businesses.

Job Description

• Assist with current implementation of SAP to US and international offices
• Communicate technical solutions and issues to a non-technical audience
• Develop Technical and Functional Specs, Test Scripts, Change Requests when necessary and Transport all the way to Production
• Prepare training materials required to share with the rest of the SAP support team
• Prepare training materials needed by core users
• Act as the first level of contact that the users have with the group
• Offer support related to SAP FI/CO (Finance and Control)
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues (Level 1 and Level 2) over the phone using remote tools
• Route/Dispatch Level 3 support issues if unable to address to our VAR
• Automate manual processes for areas of responsibility
• Query, reconcile and analyse large volumes of data

Person Specification

• Must have experience with SAP FI/CO
• Must have hands on system configuration experience
• Must have accounting background/knowledge experience
• Experience querying, reconciling and analysing large volumes of data
• Ability to cope with multiple deadlines and work under pressure
• Ability to travel to  other Fitch offices
• Outstanding attention to detail and ability to deliver timely and accurate product in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Must be responsible, self motivated, and well organized
• Must be able to successfully work both independently and with a team
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent issues while adapting quickly to rapidly changing priorities
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
