SAP Technical Architect recruitment

Montash Associates have been retained by a leading global financial services organisation to find a Senior SAP Technical Architect. The Senior SAP Technical Architect will be an integral part of a European-wide transformation programme and will sit in a team of highly-skilled SAP Architects. The organisation is continuing to grow and is looking to add the top percentile of global talent.

The Senior SAP Technical Architect will be responsible for all elements of the SAP Technical Architecture design, build, testing and maintenance on a global Scale. The Senior SAP Technical Architect will also be tasked with ensuring that common SAP Technical Architecture decisions are made and undertaken in order to support the requirements of both the business and IT.

The Senior SAP Technical Architect will be responsible for the following areas:

- SAP Applications Technical Architecture Design
- SAP Applications Technical Security
- Technical Landscape design and documentation
- Optimization of infrastructure utilization and capacity management
- Integration of SAP and related non-SAP applications into the existing infrastructure including processing hardware, storage and network
- Ideally coming from an insurance / financial services background
- Knowledge Transfer of detailed design to Basis and Service Delivery teams

The Senior SAP Technical Architect must have knowledge/experience of the following:

- Expert understanding of architecture, applications, infrastructure, systems design and integration - Vast experience in SAP Basis Area (preferably from architectural perspective)
- SAP NetWeaver
- SAP Solution Manager
- SAP ECC (6.0), FI and CO
- Good knowledge of finance systems / environments
- Good knowledge of SAP High Availability concepts, adaptive computing, virtualization, networking
- Linux, Windows, Oracle DB
