Sarbanes Oxley Subject Matter Expert
My client a large professional services organisation is currently seeking a SOX SME to join them for a 3 - 6 month contract. This is an opportunity to join an expanding dynamic team consultants who provide wide-ranging support across numerous businesses across numerous sectors in the UK in meeting their SOX requirements.
Requirements
- Understanding Sarbanes-Oxley Act to a very high level (including scoping, identifying, documenting, embedding and testing).
- Strong Audit or other risk and control, technical knowledge and experience.
- Demonstrable record of building and maintaining high impact relationships with senior stakeholders, using influencing and conflict resolution skills as appropriate.
- Demonstrable ability to analyse and interpret complex information, challenge and make sound judgements and recommendations.
- Demonstrable ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision but as part of a team.
- Exceptionally strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Desirable Experience:
- Qualified accountant, or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience rolling out SOX frameworks start to finish.
