SAS Developer/ Analytics and Stats
Rate and duration are negotiable; this is initially a contract, 6-12 months, and rate is negotiable. Rate listed is a baseline category rate. In addition to the market analysis Client already provides for the retail industry (regression analysis, clustering), a forecasting application is now also a high-demand addition. Client is in the process of creating such an application (development phase) and the current forecasting application has over 60 models through which data can be evaluated. While SMEs are doing the actual forecasting, this person would also be responsible for operational/automation duties (integrating files from other applications) as well as development. Qualifications Our ideal candidate will demonstrate: - A degree or experience with a strong statistical/mathematical element - Experience in applying statistical methodologies such as Regression, Clustering, Principle - - Component Analysis and Data Imputation. - 2 - 3 Years Expertise in using SAS. - Experience working with large datasets and databases such as Netezza, Oracle, or SQL. - CPG (consumer based products) experience is a plus particularly working with pos and panel data (Retail experience favored) - Ability to work independently. - Strong English language skills (including grammar) and ability to communicate complex issues clearly (not explicitly for technical requirements, but need clear and precise communication via email and phone)
