A leading financial services based client is currently looking for a SAS based marketing analyst to join a team of 5 analysts, to help develop analytical direct marketing strategies to improve product and business performance.

SAS Marketing Analyst Role Information:

A leading financial services provider is currently in the process of expanding their marketing an analytics function and is looking for a SAS based marketing analyst to come on board and improve business performance through advising on customer driven contact strategies. The company are currently in the process of expanding in to Europe and developing a separate product team to facilitate the expansion plans for the business and are therefore looking for a marketing analyst to come on board to deliver data driven insights to help to shape these decisions. This role will provide the fantastic opportunity for an analyst to take responsibility for the Customer Management side of the marketing analytics. You will be required to shape decisions to help improve the customer segmentation and profiling for the direct mail campaigns and you will be required to generate strategic plans to improve customer targeting. This role will be 50% hands on analysis and 50% developing marketing strategies and reporting back to the business with actionable insights. This role will provide a step forward for a marketing analyst with experience of SAS for analysis, where you will be given responsibility for an area and you will be responsible for improving business performance through the analysis you generate.

To apply for this role you must have the following:

- It is essential for candidates to have experience of using SAS as a statistical tool for analysis.

- It is preferable for candidates to have a degree, Masters or PhD in a numerate subject, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Operational Research or Economics.

- It would be advantageous for candidates to have experience of working within a marketing environment for financial services based companies.

- Any experience of statistical modelling, such as CHAID, predictive or propensity modelling would be useful but not essential.
