SAS Programmer and Analyst – Santa Ana, CA

Make solid recommendations based on the analysis and provide explanations for reporting results for both internal operations and our customers. As a key resource to others you must maintain a high degree of accuracy along with attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to always meet deadlines.
Positions in this function include those responsible for designing/developing, programming, maintaining and publishing operational reports. Provides operational analysis utilized for decision making. May make recommendations based on the analysis, and provide explanations for reporting results as needed. May be done for internal operational purposes as well as for customers.
Positions in this function conduct and manage outcomes of various studies that include analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for operational and business planning. They support short and long term operational/strategic business activities - by developing, enhancing and maintaining operational information and models. They also develop and implement effective/strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes.

Requirements:
�Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
�2+ years of experience performing significant data analysis and report development required
�Intermediate level of programming knowledge (reporting code) and of relational databases, database structures and design, systems design, data management, data warehouse required.
�2+ years of SAS programming experience required
�Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
Assets:
�Healthcare industry experience preferred
�Crystal Report skills and SQL Server experience a plus.
