SAS Senior Analyst recruitment
Strengthen the development and monitoring process for Rating Models by providing effective technical input and challenge to new model developments, quarterly monitoring and annual reviews.
- Provide in-depth technical input and robust internal challenge to Rating model developments and annual reviews
- Champion the introduction of innovative and industry best practice techniques in Basel model development and monitoring, seeking required buy-in from key stakeholders
- Lead the adoption of innovative modelling and monitoring techniques by rating models teams, managing both internal stakeholder buy-in and external relationships with industry and academia.
- Work effectively with Group Risk Analytics Model Validation team, responding to challenges and queries raised, particularly on model monitoring and annual reviews, helping resolve issues that arise.
- Maintain effective relationships with divisional portfolio, product and finance teams, staying abreast of changes to process, policies or strategies that impact on rating models, drawing up action plans to address.
- Deliver coaching and training sessions as required, to enhance modelling / statistical capabilities and rigour across the modelling and monitoring teams.
