SAS/SQS Finance Data Analyst recruitment
A leading Global Banking Institution is looking for a SQL/SAS Finance Data Analyst to provide analytical an technical support across all areas of their UK Retail and Business Banking division. The role also involves working with stakeholders from all levels to inform critical business decisions.
Candidates’ responsibilities include;
• Tracking profitability of products up to business line
• Carry out data mining and modelling customer profitability data for various projects. Develop self-serve tools to facilitate stakeholders in extracting useful insights from our database.
• Own the BAU processes such as product vintage tracking and reporting which are critical to stakeholders who use our data for reporting and modelling purposes. Oversee the input assumptions into the models and create process, controls around the assumptions.
• Automate manual BAU processes to improve productivity.
• Continuous monitoring of financial performance through the project and provide useful insights to stakeholders for driving improvement in business performance.
• Conduct Ad hoc analysis to inform business critical decisions.
• Build effective stakeholder relationships across finance and beyond
Additional Skills needed;
- Demonstration of high degree of effective stakeholder management and project ownership
- Record of successful delivery of projects
- Technical skills include SAS/SQL
- Drove business decisions through profitability analysis / data insight
- Experience of developing financial / data driven models
- Experience of working in the Financial Services industry
