The Function of the Facilities Management (FM) Customer Site Representative is to serve as the full time, on-site representative of Sharp Business Systems at a specific client location.
Running print and copy jobs for users
- Keeping track of resources used per job - ordering supplies needed to complete project via Office Services.
- Ordering supplies to replenish ones used from Office Supplies/notify supplies used
- Maintaining supplies for re-occurring projects
- Keeping proper inventory of all supplies necessary for equipment use
- Facilitating print-shop requests (i.e. binding, laminating)
- Packaging and delivery of completed jobs to customers
Checking equipment daily
- Checking and changing toners on all printers on the maintenance contract
- Ordering toners for faxes and changing as needed.
- Loading paper, checking toner, cleaning machines (if dirty)
- Filling out logs for all Sharp machines in service at location
- Reporting any service related issues to Service Department
- Ordering supplies of Sharp and HP printers
- Reporting network connectivity issues to IT Department
Customer Service
- Completing weekly report and submitting to Office Services supervisor for all completed projects
- Supporting client mailroom as needed
- Placing service calls when necessary
- Fielding problem calls from users
- Maintaining availability to assist users with any printing issues
- Previous experience working with copiers and postage machines a plus
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to work independently, remotely and with minimal supervision
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to prioritize projects and maintain flexibility to shift priorities as necessary
- Must possess basic mathematical skills especially arithmetic
- Ability to walk, stoop, bend, and lift 50 pounds
