As a SCCM/Citrix Engineer in the infrastructure management team you will be responsible for managing a recently deployed controlled end user computing environment and you will support the provisioning, installation, operation, upgrading and performance testing of the client computing infrastructure.
In particular this role will:
- Maintain service level requirements for Client Computing
- Maintain and monitor Client Computing infrastructure availability and reliability
- Ensure hardware/software applications and network components comply with technical and operational standards
- Coordinate service requests, problem diagnoses and escalated support
- Monitor new releases and patches and make recommendations on implementation and testing strategies
- Provide regular reporting on service risks
- Support vendor relationships and contracts
To succeed in this role, you will be degree qualified and have a MCSE/MCITP certification or equivalent, have demonstrated enterprise systems management experience and previously worked on global projects and managed supplier relationships.
You will have strong implementation, administration and support experience in the following technologies:
- SCCM
- Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop
- SOE development
- Elevated rights management systems
- Patch management anti-virus solutions
Your experience with Active Directory, PowerShell or VB Scripting will also be desirable.
