Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

The Devices scheduler plays a leading role in managing the flow of work orders in to the production department to maximise output against customer demand. Your role will start by assessing production requirements and requesting work orders to satisfy demand from planning department, requesting materials in from off-site warehouse, and prioritising kitting of orders. In this role you will liaise with a cross functional team including planning, sourcing, off-site warehouse, material logistics and production teams. The scheduler also plays a leading role in the development of the Master Production Schedule in conjunction with planning and production teams. The scheduler inputs MPS information directly in to UPD database that is used widely to communicate delivery information.

Qualifications/Requirements

- Previous experience of working in a scheduling/planning role is highly desirable. - Good PC skills are essential, particularly the use of Microsoft excel. - Excellent communication skills are a must. - The ability to work on own initiative whilst being part of a wider team. - Ability to solve problems using networking skills. - Experience of working with MRP/ERP systems, particularly Oracle is advantageous.
