Scheduler Job in Tulsa 74110, Oklahoma Us
Client that designs constructs gas processing plants refineries is looking for a Project Scheduler to join their team. You need 7-10+ years of experience developing maintaining project schedules in support of gas processing (natural gas, ethane recovery, sulfur, hydrocarbon, nitrogen rejection, gas treating, etc...) and/or refining EPC projects.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for scheduling all engineering construction activities associated with assigned gas processing or refinery EPC projects
- Produce an integrated critical path schedule, update as required, and report potential problems/problem areas
- Create resource loaded schedules and maintain a Primavera based earned value system on projects
- Implement and update EVM progress reporting system for assigned projects in Primavera
- Analyze and report Project progress and manpower requirements
- Update evaluate the accuracy of the project forecast by assessing actual cost incurred physical progress achieved for all phases of project
- Assists the Project Manager in developing workarounds, recovery plans, and “what-if” scenarios using the Project Schedule
Requirements
- 7-10+ years of experience as a Project Scheduler involved in CPM scheduling in support of heavy industrial engineering construction projects
- Specific experience scheduling engineering construction activities for gas processing (natural gas, ethane recovery, sulfur, hydrocarbon, nitrogen rejection, gas treating, etc...) or refinery EPC projects
- Proficient with creating new maintaining existing schedules using Primavera P6 software
- Produce CPM schedules and associated progress reporting, cost reporting, and project analysis
- Experience with Earned Value Progress Measurement for engineering and construction projects
- Bachelor’s in Engineering or Construction Management preferred or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
