Ingersoll Rand Residential Solutions, a business comprised of well-known brands like Schlage and Trane, delivers safety, comfort and efficiency to homeowners throughout North America. Our quality products, services and solutions include mechanical and electronic locks, heating and air conditioning systems, indoor air quality solutions, advanced controls, portable security systems and remote home management.

Working closely with the SchlageLiNK team, this position will become the IR subject matter expert on how the SchlageLiNK software and hardware function. This role will support internal and external customers by troubleshooting advanced setups and SchlageLiNK software system issues. Collaborating across a number of internal and external teams (such as engineering, customer service, product marketing, operations, local geographic affiliates such as Australia/New Zealand, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and multiple external technology firms), this role will help to ensure the system meets customer expectations of functionality and availability. In addition, this role will lead the design, development, and adoption of subscriber analytics, predictive modeling and data mining to help the business strategy and product management team understand and predict subscriber churn, defection, and retention.

Key Responsibilities:
• Work with the multiple technologies involved in SchlageLiNK, understand and master the software architecture, and troubleshoot customer tier 3 issues and software defects.
• Collaborate with 3rd party software developers to help design and develop new technology.
• Collaborate with other geographies (Australia/New Zealand, Mexico, and Canada) to assess, plan, and implement system requirements and capacity necessary to expand SchlageLiNK to those affiliates.
• Research and resolve reported issues, coordinate the problem solving process and ensure business standards and internal service level agreements are met.
• Execute deployments for new versions of the SchlageLiNK product in various environments and assist the development team with testing and release lifecycle processes as required.
• Review, evaluate, and document existing configurations and/or systems to identify and recommend the options for improving performance and stability.
• Identify knowledge gaps and provides technical assistance and/or training to educate customers, other internal staff, and support staff.
• Ensure that technology architecture and direction align with industry best practices.
• Availability after normal business hours and on weekends as required to help support the application.
• Lead the implementation of analytics and data mining solution in order to understand and predict subscriber churn, retention, and defection.

Education / Experience: BS in technology-related field or the equivalent of 5-10 years of technology systems / support experience
• Demonstrated ability to solve highly challenging and complex technical problems
• Experience with complete system development lifecycle projects
• Broad knowledge of multiple technologies including Linux, Ruby, MySQL, SQL
• Strong learning agility and comfort with high degree of ambiguity
• Strong communication influence, ability to collaborate with internal external customers and stakeholders (such as development partners, business development prospects, consultants, and general end users)
