Rocky View Schools invites applications for a permanent, full-time (35 hrs/wk) School Business Manager (10 month) position at George McDougall High School. As the successful candidate you must a two year accelerated accounting diploma with advanced working knowledge of spreadsheets and accounting applications. Previous accounting experience for this position is essential. You are a mature individual demonstrating well developed interpersonal public relation skills.
Position Description:
- Holds financial accountability (local bank account) for accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation/month end financial statements and year end reporting
- Determination and monitoring of annual budget
- Preparation of requisitions and tracking expenditures
- Collection, recording and submission of G.S.T.
- Determination of, collections of and administration of all student fees
We seek candidates who possess the following:
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Professional
- Computerized
- bookkeeping skills (preferably SchoolCashNET)
- General knowledge of basic budgeting practices
- Demonstrated ability to create and maintain data base systems and processes
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
