School Nurse for Birmingham
Hays Healthcare is recruiting for a full time Grade 4 School Nurse to work in the Birmingham area.
35hrs per week term time only (8.30am – 4.00pm). The right candidate will have the below skills:
• We are looking for a highly motivated and committed School Nurse to join our team to ensure the good health and welfare of all pupils, staff and visitors of the Academy
• The successful applicant will be responsible for the provision of the healthcare needs of pupils including administering first aid, medication, co-ordinating screening immunisation programmes, minor injury assessment and the promotion of physical and mental health.
• You will need to be a registered nurse (RGN) with post qualification experience.
• You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; have strong organisation and planning skills; be able to prioritise appropriately and safely; be proactive and take initiative; be willing to support change; and have a keen interest in developing the role of the school nurse.
