Scientific Copy Editor
A boutique yet well-respected scientific publishing company is seeking a Scientific Copy Editor to work in their London office. They require an experienced individual with plenty of talent and professional acumen to join their thriving team.
The new Scientific Copy Editor will be responsible for a range of duties, including: ensuring highest standards of scientific accuracy, clarity, readability and functionality along with adherence to house style. Working with their studio to transform text content into visually appealing materials the successful candidate will be good at liaising with key opinion leaders/academics editors, authors and the production teams in order to ensure work is delivered on-time and according to brief both online and in print.
Scientific editing skills and attention to detail are essential qualities, as accuracy and precision are paramount to the work this agency does. The ability to produce work to deadline is essential. The company would like to find someone who has previous copy-editing experience but it is not essential. A knowledge of InDesign and Mac OS would be considered highly beneficial.
