Scientific Editor
A boutique yet well-respected scientific publishing company in London has a unique opportunity for an ambitious Scientific Editor to join their expanding team. The position involves the editing of scientific manuscripts and the review of material accepted for publication. The successful candidate will be required to work with academic researchers and the science community overall in order to develop medical publications.
To be considered you must have a PHD in Life Sciences or a similar medical discipline and postdoctoral experience is desirable. You must also have great organisation and good interpersonal skills.
You will also need to be highly computer literate with a solid knowledge of InDesign and Mac OS. To be eligible for this role you should have strong experience in medical publishing. You should also be highly motivated and well-organised with proven communication skills. A background in a science publishing or editorial position is considered a distinct advantage but not essential.
