Scientist I, Risk Assessment
Job Description AECOM Environment is looking for a full time Scientist I in our Fort Collins or Denver location. The primary job function will be the completion of quality assurance and quality control data validation reviews consistent with EPA National Functional Guidance. The ideal candidate has a laboratory background and can assist with laboratory coordination, obtaining lab bids for analytical work, and conducting lab audits. Database management skills are a necessity for this position. Familiarity with EDD and regional EPA, state regulatory, and/or DOD, DOE (AFCEE, USATHAMA, etc) QAQC and data validation requirements would be a plus. The ideal candidate would have both laboratory analytical and laboratory project or QAQC management experience. Other requirements include: B.S. Degree in Science 1 to 3 years experience Strong Excel, Word and Access competencies and an aptitude and willingness to learn all available IT tools Good writing skills
