Job Description Our Santa Maria office is currently seeking an air quality specialist. Responsibilities will include working with other air quality professionals to conduct analyses regarding air quality emissions, emission controls, and compliance with clients air quality permit requirements. Candidates must be self-starters with the ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and produce accurate technical products. Candidates must have experience developing and implementing project plans and work assignments, preparing proposals, developing client relationships, ensuring product quality, building and enhancing multidiscipline teams, and completing projects on-time and within budget. Candidates must be able to apply the details of air quality monitoring data and summarization, technical analyses of air emission sources, the use of emission factors and stack tests for determining compliance, the requirements for managing air quality data, and providing the required reports or summaries. Technical experiences should include working knowledge in: - Stationary source permitting and Federal, State, and Local air quality regulations - Title V, PSD, NSR, BACT, and MACT. - Air dispersion modeling and health risk assessment. GHG/CEQA experience is a plus. Prefer candidates with the Santa Barbara County Air Pollution Control District and Oil Gas industry experience. Require a BS in engineering, meteorology, atmospheric sciences or related degree. Advanced degrees are plus.
