We have a Senior Software Scientist position in the Ithaca area with a worldwide leader in Static-Analysis Tools for C, C++ and Ada.

In this role, you'll manage software projects and supervise software developers through the design, implementation, and testing phases, write technical proposals and project reports, and be an integral part of the research and development team, with responsibly for the research and development of approaches and tools for automated program analysis.

Core areas of research include:

* Reverse Engineering (helping engineers to better understand program artifacts)
* Assurance (finding bugs and security vulnerabilities in software)
* Protection (high-fidelity and pervasive rewriting of software executables)
* Producibility (lowering the cost of software development and maintenance)

What you need for this position:

* PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering
* 5+ years of software engineering
* Research background in compilers, machine code analysis, and static analysis
* Knowledge of C and C++ programming languages
* Security clearance or ability to obtain clearance (must be a US citizen)
