Brief Description JOB TITLE: SCREENING AGENT DEPARTMENT: Driver Recruiting VERIFIED: 3/2012 STATUS: Full-Time HOURS: 9:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. REPORTS TO: Regional Recruiting Manager JOB SUMMARY: The Screening Agent is responsible for managing initial contacts for driving opportunities to new prospective drivers, driver trainees, as well as Independent Contractors and Fleet Owners. The Screening Agent will answer incoming calls, make outbound calls and respond to various recruiting leads. The Screening Agent will support all functions of recruiting up to the point of interview to include selling our Military program as well as special projects. Flexible hours are required based on the need of the business. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Primary accountability includes: a. Following up on internet leads. b. Screening candidates and direct ownership of ? to be evaluated ? status. c. Direct ownership and accountability to execute closure of ? contact attempts ? status. d. Support work for special programs e. Project work as assigned Respond to and act on various leads by telephone and electronically. Be knowledgeable about driving opportunities to be able to discuss with driver candidates. Take incoming calls from prospective drivers, d river trainees, Independent Contractors and Fleet Owners . Introduce program offerings and career opportunities, conduct a qualifications analysis, if qualified schedule an interview with Driver Recruiter to advance in the hiring process with Schneider National. Review candidate qualifications and make an objective qualification decision . Conduct screening interviews of candidates. Evaluate application and make an objective qualification decision to determine who meets hiring criteria. Inform candidates of the additional requirements for information and paperwork needed to continue the recruiting process. Direct interface and teamwork with Driver Recruiters. Follow up via phone or written contact with all pending candidates. Meet or exceed specific weekly and monthly performance metrics. Maintain superior customer service with candidates, Internal Departments and Driver Recruiting associates. Key Metrics associated with role 1. To be evaluated (TBE) 24 hours 2.
