IT PROJECT MANAGER – ScrumMaster - CSM
Alliance Telecom Solutions has an excellent opportunity for an IT Project Manager with solid proficiency with Agile methodology and is a Certified Scrum Mater (CSM) for our project in the greater San Diego area. This is a long term project at 6 months+ with longer term potential. Primary required experience is outlined below
PROJECT:
Our client is moving to the Agile project methodology. They want to apply the methodology to build a business process and this person will function as part of a team of PM’s, but will be focused on one particular functional group. This Project Manager will be assigned to help with the Change Request process.
REQUIRED SKILLS
· 5 years IT Project Manager experience
· Minimum of 5 years constant PM experience in Agile Project Management
· Scrum Master certification required
· Excellent understanding of risk assessment, tracking and mitigation
· Excellent people skills and follow up to get things done without creating friction
· Excellent judgment on when and how to escalate issues
· Previous telecom project management experience a plus
· Project Manager must conduct meetings; drive the requirements process with PMO and analyst working for the stakeholder. Must be problem solvers
· Able to create project updates including project dashboards. May need to consolidate project plans to a master plan
· PMP or PMI certification as plus
DUTIES
· Strong ability to apply the technique to business process development, as well as Project Management
· Build a process and system to manage the backlog of change requests to the billing system.
· Apply Agile methods and Scrum Master skills to building the process
· Create a process to prioritize the Change Requests. That means this will be a higher visibility role because the person will need to manage expectations as they prioritize the requests.
· Be able to manage the process and apply good PM skills in communicating with both Billing Operations within the client, and various departments.
