Required Skills
- Experience with administration and configuration of multi–tiered architecture (SOA, Web–based, Distributed, etc) components (Web and Application Servers, Messaging, Databases, XML Parsers, LDAP and Directory services, network infrastructure, etc) and understanding of dataflow within these environments.
- Experience with network security configurations in enterprise systems.
- Experience in software application development (prefer JAVA, but other object oriented languages like .NET, C++ acceptable) specifically developing multi–tiered application, SOA and web based applications, and distributed enterprise applications.
- Experience utilizing secure coding practices and secure application design principles(prefer JAVA) specifically regarding Authorization and Identity Management, Auditing and Logging configuration, Access control, Data validation, Data Flow and Session management, and Configuration management. Prefer experience in code and application design review.
- Experience with developing secure web services configurations utilizing XML, SOAP, WS–Security (and WS* libraries), SAML, XACML, UDDI, etc with focus on persistent authorization, access control, and auditing in various trust relationship models . Prefer experience in reviewing web service and SOA designs.
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, information security, or equivalent degree.
- Must be US Citizen and eligible to obtain a security clearance.
- Knowledge of the SDLC process and experience incorporating security throughout the process.
- Knowledge of NIST 800–53 Rev 3 and control implementation for software application and multi–tier infrastructure components.
