SE15 - Chemist
Analytical Chemist: S eeking a temporary Research Associates/Senior Research Associate in our process chemistry group. The individual will work as part of our team to purify and analyze the desired compounds from various sample matrixes such as microbial fermentation broths and/or semi-synthetic reaction mixtures at scale level from milligrams to kilograms. Requirements: · BS or MS degree in chemistry · Not less than two year s of industrial experience · Essential experience with relevant separation methods including centrifugation, liquid extractions, chromatography (preparative HPLC), selective precipitation, crystallization and tangential flow filtration methods. · Experience with relevant analytical instrument technique including chromatographic methods (LC, GC) and spectroscopic methods (LC-MS, NMR) is a plus. · Productive hands-on lab performer · Energetic, well-trained, countable, and self-motivated individual. · Willing to learn and implement modern experimental techniques. · Strong communications skills; able to work effectively as part of a team. · Excellent analytical, organizational and multi-tasking skills. · Proficiency in writing and making oral presentations.
